“Paste your script, pick a voice, and you have a finished audio track before your coffee cools. This is Kore.”
Text to audio, free.
Paste, listen, download MP3.
A text to speech converter for people who make videos. Standard voices and 1,000 characters a day cost nothing. No sign-up.
mp3 · srt · vtt · no watermark
Three moves, one MP3
No account, no project setup. The text box is the app; long text renders line by line in parallel and comes back as one track.
A script, a caption, a paragraph from an article, a product description. English or any of 20 languages.
Ten voices with real samples. Change the pace, change the voice, render again until the line sounds right.
Drop it on your video timeline, into a podcast episode or a slide deck. Subtitles too: SRT and VTT come from the same render, timed to the audio.
Hear every voice before you choose
These are real renders from the engine behind this site, not studio recordings and not samples picked from a marketing reel.
“Okay, you have three seconds to hook them, so here is the hook: this video was voiced by me, Puck, in about four seconds flat.”
“At dawn the harbor is empty, and the fog has not yet decided where to go. This is Charon, reading slowly, because some stories deserve it.”
“Pega tu texto, elige una voz y escucha el resultado al instante. Soy Lora, y hablo español con naturalidad.”
What this text to speech tool is for
Most text to voice sites are built as demos for an enterprise API. This one is built around the moment when you have a script open in one tab and a video editor in the other. You paste, you listen, you fix a word, you listen again, you download. That loop should take seconds, so the converter sits at the top of the page and everything else is below it.
It is a text to audio online converter in the plain sense: text goes in, an audio file comes out. Use it as a free text to speech reader for proof-listening your own writing, as a voice over generator for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, as a narrator for explainer videos and course modules, or as a quick way to turn a blog post into something you can listen to on a walk.
Why not just use the voice in my phone?
You can, for listening. But phone voices cannot be exported as files, cannot be timed against a video, and sound like a phone. The voices here are rendered server-side from a current neural speech model, read punctuation and emphasis properly, and come back as an MP3 you own.
Honest limits
- Free plan: 1,000 characters a day with the five standard voices. MP3, SRT and VTT included.
- Studio voices, bigger renders and commercial use are on the paid plans.
- Pace is an instruction to the voice (slow to fast), not an exact speed multiplier.
- No voice cloning. No celebrity or impersonation voices. No built-in music library.
- We do not store your text or your audio. The speech provider deletes its copies within 14 days.

Questions people ask before pressing Listen
Is this text to audio converter really free?
Yes. Every day you get 1,000 characters with the standard voices, and the MP3 download is included. There is no watermark and no sign-up for the free tier. Paid plans add studio voices and larger monthly quotas.
What is the difference between text to audio and text to speech?
Nothing, in practice. "Text to speech" (TTS) is the technology; "text to audio" or "text to voice" is what people call the result: an audio file you can play, share or put under a video. This page does both: it speaks your text and gives you the file.
Which languages and voices are available?
Twenty languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi and Arabic, read by ten voices. Each voice is multilingual, so you can keep the same narrator across translated versions of a video. Listen to all of them on the voices page.
Can I use the audio in YouTube videos, podcasts or ads?
Free-tier audio can be used in personal and non-monetised projects. Commercial use (monetised channels, client work, ads, courses you sell) is covered by the Creator and Studio plans. See the terms.
Do you clone voices?
No. We do not offer voice cloning, do not imitate real people and do not host celebrity voices. All voices are synthetic and licensed for this service.
What happens to the text I paste?
It is sent to our speech provider (Google Gemini text to speech, accessed through Kie.ai) to render the audio. We do not store your text. The finished track is put together in your browser; the provider keeps the raw clips at unlisted links for up to 14 days, then deletes them. Details in the privacy policy.
How long can the text be?
The free plan includes 1,000 characters per day; each render must fit your remaining daily allowance. Paid plans allow up to 30,000 characters per render, within your remaining monthly quota. Long text is split into lines, rendered in parallel and joined back into one MP3 in your browser. For whole articles the text to speech reader can also load a web page for you.
