What it is
texttoaudio.io turns text into speech you can download as MP3, with subtitles timed to the audio, and turns recordings back into timed text. It also converts video to audio inside your browser. The text box is the product: no projects, no workspaces, no render queue to babysit.
Who runs it
texttoaudio.io is an independent product. The operator of this website is the party you contract with under the terms of service and can be reached at [email protected].
What powers it
- Speech: Google Gemini text to speech, accessed through Kie.ai.
- Transcription: Google Gemini audio understanding, accessed through Kie.ai.
- MP4 to MP3, video to audio and MP3 encoding: your own browser.
- Hosting: Cloudflare. Sign-in emails: Resend. Payments: our payment processor's hosted checkout.
What we will not do
- Clone voices or imitate real people, including on request.
- Host celebrity or character voices.
- Build downloaders for YouTube or any other platform.
- Publish invented user counts or testimonials. When we have numbers worth showing, they will carry a date.
